We have a wide variety of book groups that meet at both the Main Library and on Zoom. Drop in when you can or come every month - it's up to you!

Bibliobites Book Group

IN PERSON ONLY

Bibliobites is a book group with a culinary focus. We read a combination of cookbooks, culinary memoirs and Foodie fiction. We often pick a theme for a meeting and encourage members to try recipes related to the theme. We do not discourage members from bringing those recipes in for us to try! Between the Sheets

IN PERSON ONLY

Did you know that romance novels generate over $1.4 billion in revenue each year--making romance the highest earning genre of fiction? Romance readers, we know you're out there, and we've got the book club for you! Join Julie Iatron, Reference and Readers Services' Librarian AND romance devotee, to discuss different levels of spice every second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm in the conference room. Evening Book Group

HYBRID - ZOOM & IN PERSON

The evening group is an eclectic mix of people who meet at 7 pm on the FIRST Monday of every month (with the exception of Monday holidays and summer months) for lively conversation.  We read both fiction and non-fiction titles. We laugh a lot. The group meets in a hybrid format – you may choose to join virtually, or come in and meet in-person in the conference room on the lower level. Book Brunch, which meets in our cozy fireplace room, is more of a book share than a book group. New for 2025 Every month, Julie and Jill will give brief reviews of recent and recommended titles to the group, and then ask the members to share what they've been reading. History Book Group

HYBRID - ZOOM & IN PERSON

The History Book Group is an informal group for people with an interest in history – local, U.S. and world history. The group meets at 7 pm on the the last Thursday of every month (with the exception of July, August, November and December). If you are new to the group, please register for the meeting you would like to attend on the library’s calendar or sign up for the group’s newsletter below. The Knit-Lit Book Group

The Knit-Lit Book Group is a friendly group of knitters and crafters that meet once a month to discuss a chosen title. The Knit Lit Group meets on the second Friday of the every month (except in July and August) at 10:30 am in the fireplace area, crafts in hand. Let’s Talk Books with Jill and Julie

Our new book group is a book share – everyone chooses to read a book on a theme and shares with the group – and meets the last Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. Each month, after the meeting, everyone will gain a new list of books to read! Visit the events calendar for more information on each meeting. Real Reads is our new non-fiction reading discussion group. We will explore excellent authors and world-changing ideas on urgent issues affecting the globe and our own back yards.
