In 2019, Dave Duane donated two banjo clocks to the Town of Chelmsford. Both clocks were made by Foster Campos, of Pembroke, MA. One is on display in the Main Library, and the other is at the MacKay Branch.

Foster Campos, 1926-2007, was a self-employed clockmaker, working in Pembroke. A long-time member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, he created some of the finest replicas and reproductions of classic early American timepieces.

The clock at the Main Library features Monticello on the front, commemorating the home of President Thomas Jefferson. The clock at the MacKay Branch has a hand-painted sea battle on the body, featuring a US Navy wooden ship.
