Volunteer at the Library

The library offers a limited number of volunteer tasks for Adults and Teens. Tasks may include clerical work, craft preparation and assisting with library programs.

If you wish to have your name and email added to one of our volunteer mailing lists, please complete our Volunteer Application form [pdf] and return it to Assistant Director Jessica FitzHanso.  Adult volunteers (over age 18) are required to fill out the CORI form and adhere to the state required “Conflict of Interest” law. Teens (18 years and younger) interested in volunteering can find information here.

If you have a special skill or interest that you would like to share with us, give us a call or contact Jessica FitzHanso at jfitzhanso@chelmsfordlibrary.org – opportunities await!

The Library also manages the ChelmsfordVolunteers.org website that attempts to “match” potential volunteers with volunteer opportunities.

No matter what your skills or interests, you should be able to find an organization that needs your help.  And if you’re an organization in need of volunteers, use this website to get your group listed!
