Having Trouble Paying for Medication? Needymeds May Be Able to Help!Thursday, September 13, 2012 Drop in anytime from 7 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. Co-sponsored by the Chelmsford Board of Health, Chelmsford Public Library and the Healthy Chelmsford Coalition
Learn how Needymeds, a nonprofit from Gloucester,
can save you money on your medications and at the same time help your town
out. This group has partnered with Chelmsford offering a program that could
help residents reduce the cost of their prescription medications, some over-the-counter
medications and even some pet meds as well. Each time the program card is
used to purchase medications, the town receives a small financial benefit.
Elizabeth Messenger, the Outreach and Education Manager for Needymeds, hopes
to spread the word about this program. She will explain how the program
works and will pass along cards to attendees. The program is open to people
of all ages. If you would like more info, see
