Bio
Paul Pedulla grew up in Chelmsford. He graduated from Chelmsford High School and received a BA from Boston College. Currently, he lives in Cambridge, as well as in Kennebunk, Maine and Miami Beach, Florida.

The artist’s contemporary paintings begin with fresh ideas about space and place. Paul was featured in ARTSCOPE Magazine, has appeared in the publication’s centerfold, has been written about by well-known interior designer Ana Donohue and was a featured artist at bostonartlife.com.

Paul is represented by several galleries and his work can be found in homes and businesses from Los Angeles to Germany.

Artist's Statement

My work generally provides the viewer with a glimpse. What you see is a moment, often revealing a relationship between neighboring houses, a road and the landscape, the sky and the sea, figures in a room or a window and the world it views. Sometimes inanimate elements of my paintings feel human and endearing.
I begin with almost naive ideas about space and place. The composition may include something I can see at the time or a thought that exists in my mind, such as a memory. Then I start a journey with my canvas. The most exciting part of the trip is not knowing exactly where I’ll end up. I invite you to experience where some of these adventures have taken me. But your interpretations may take you to places I’ve never even been.
