The library strives to meet the research and homework needs of our patrons, and this includes offering basic office supplies and services. Pencils and scrap paper are available throughout each library, and the Childrens, Young Adult, and Reference Desks also offer additional items.

The library also offers a number of office services, listed below. For assistance with any of the services or hardware available in the library, please ask any library staff person.

At both libraries, printing from computer workstations to a B&W printer is $0.15 per page. The main library also has a color printer, located on the lower level, which costs $0.25 per page. Printing from the online catalog terminals is free.

If you have any trouble with the printers or pay-for-print station, or if you have an unusually large file to print, please see the desk staff for assistance.

Public photocopiers are also available at both libraries. At the main library, there is one on the main level across from the Circulation Desk, and one on the lower level next to the print station. The cost is $0.15 per copy.

Faxing A public fax machine is available in the main library, located next to the self-check out machines on the main level. The cost for faxing is $1.50 for the first page, and $1.00 for any additional pages, and this machine accepts only credit or debit cards (no cash). There is an additional charge for international faxes. Using this fax machine is very easy - just lift the handset, and follow the verbal instructions provided by the system.

Typing & Typewiter A typewriter is available at the main library near the Periodicals Archive on the lower level. For assistance in using or locating the typewriter, please ask at the Reference Desk. Also, for other typing needs, Microsoft Word is available on all the computers on the lower level of the main library and at the MacKay branch.

There are retail stores near the Library that offer color copying and other services that the Library does not offer. These stores are in no way connected to the Library, and will charge their own prices for their copy machine, fax machine, printer, or other services. This information is meant only as a services guide for patrons. In order of proximity to the Library, these stores are:
