This year's tax season will be different from past years, due to cost-cutting measures at the IRS and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. These changes are:
The library will have reference copies of forms and instructions for patrons to photocopy. Also, all of these forms and instructions will be available online. You can visit the websites below for reference or to print your own copies:
The library will still have a (limited) supply, and we'll do our best to fill everyone's tax form needs.
We do plan on offering the AARP Tax-Aide Volunteer again this year, and will begin taking appointments in mid- to late-January. Please contact the Reference Desk with question, and we, try to help you find the resource you need - but remember, library staff is not qualified to offer tax advice.Posted in Current News, Library Information | No Comments »
2007 Federal and State forms are now available at the library.
All of the Federal forms we have received so far are on display at the bottom of the stairs in the Reference Area, and are free for the taking. Additional Federal forms are available on the IRS website.
For Massachusetts State forms, please ask at the Reference Desk. These are limited to 1 booklet per person. Additional State forms are available on the Massachusetts State Department of Revenue website.

Rosetta Stone Language Learning Database
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then the Rosetta Stone Language Learning database is for you. Nine languages are covered, including English (US & UK), French, German, Greek, Italian, Russian, Spanish (Latin American & Spain).
Business & Personal Forms On File
Forms can be found by both browsing categories or searching for keywords, and they are available as convenient Adobe PDF files. This single repository is easier and more reliable to search than the internet, and with at-home access no photocopying is needed.
