| In 1981, filmmaker and Chelmsford resident Fred Barzyk produced this film with Jean Shepherd (who also wrote the popular movie, "A Christmas Story"). Here's some little known trivia: the film's music was performed by the 1981 Chelmsford High School Band!

In honor of this year's Independence Day, Chelmsford Town Offices - including the Library - will be closed on Friday, July 3rd. The Library will also be closed on Saturday, July 4th.

There will be no fireworks display in Chelmsford.
